That's funny, I'm the opposite. I don't mind the sound, and would like to see her explore it more, but don't care for the cheating song theme again. I've been wanting a slower, stripped down, folk sounding story song with a banjo or harmonica from Carrie for a long time. I guess something like Oklahoma Wind might have been. When they described the three songs Carrie wrote for Narnia, one was described as folksy though I didn't quite get that vibe from David Hodges' recording. It's interesting and has good lyrics but I don't like the sound.
I'm 100% good with no soaring big notes or vocals. We have so many of those type now. This side of Carrie's voice needs to be explored more.Ok so I can't rank the songs because they are all amazing, so I will give them points, it's kind of the same but it looks better.. lol
Ghost Story 8.0
D&R 8.5
Crazy Angels 9.5
SDK 9.5
I'm not giving a 10 to a song without a high note..
how dare you?I'm 100% good with no soaring big notes or vocals. We have so many of those type now. This side of Carrie's voice needs to be explored more.
GS - 9

saving a 10 till we hear the whole album.
Nah, so knew she was going to play it coy and only hint at it Would’ve loved it she sang “this worthless piece of sugar honey iced tea”Put me in the ”I love it!” group. Did any one else kind of gasp after the words ”this worthless piece…” wondering if some bad words might actually follow from our dear sweet Carrie? Lol. Like that would ever happen, lol.
That’s hilarious, because I stated on here that it is a tame “Dirty Laundry”. I’ve been thinking how with the car in the lyric video it could easily be the precursor to “Two Black Cadillacs”I just read this on twitter and it’s a interesting perspective. She Don’t know is a sister song to Dirty Laundry, and can be a prequel to two Black Cadillacs
It's kinda odd that they haven't? I don't get it tbh. Also, tickets go on sale today and not a word except for last night's tweet. Hope all is okay.I wish her or her team would post about it so people would be aware of it.
I'm also not ruling out that it could be a single. Love Wins was a single and was pretty back there in the tracklist.
