That's funny, I'm the opposite. I don't mind the sound, and would like to see her explore it more, but don't care for the cheating song theme again. I've been wanting a slower, stripped down, folk sounding story song with a banjo or harmonica from Carrie for a long time. I guess something like Oklahoma Wind might have been. When they described the three songs Carrie wrote for Narnia, one was described as folksy though I didn't quite get that vibe from David Hodges' recording.

I'm 100% good with no soaring big notes or vocals. We have so many of those type now. This side of Carrie's voice needs to be explored more.

GS - 9
D&R - 6
CA - 9
SDK - 9.5

saving a 10 till we hear the whole album.

Kind of sad that SDK will not be a single since it's almost the last song and the last songs never are released as singles. It sounds like smash hit, I would release it as the second single, sounds good for a fall/winter song.

SDK in full is awesome. This album is going to be a smash!!! Not one bad/good song released so far. Ghost story sounds great and has plenty of replay value, and gets better with each listen. Denim and Rhinestone is a fun hair brushing singing song, Crazy Angels is just an amazing crowd pumping fun party song, and now She Don’t know, is classic country Carrie, love the storyteller twang, that has hints of Choctaw Country Affair, with her style mixed in for a great combo. Can’t wait until June 10th

SDK is the direction I've been wanting her to go in for many years now. Even though I loved CP, I missed her having more outright country moments on it. The production, vocals, sound - everything is great on SDK. The little specific details like Aisle 5, cabernet in a paper bag, the cigarette brand - all of these make it more than a generic song. Looking forward to hearing more songs like this in the future.

That’s hilarious, because I stated on here that it is a tame “Dirty Laundry”. I’ve been thinking how with the car in the lyric video it could easily be the precursor to “Two Black Cadillacs”

I wish her or her team would post about it so people would be aware of it.

I'm also not ruling out that it could be a single. Love Wins was a single and was pretty back there in the tracklist.

It's kinda odd that they haven't? I don't get it tbh. Also, tickets go on sale today and not a word except for last night's tweet. Hope all is okay.

I like this song. As far as cheating songs go, Carrie can sing She Don't Know to her and sing Chaser to him. She can then go Drinking Alone with a stranger but not before she bash his truck.
