I miss the sales days from five to ten years ago.

This is definitely why her team pushed for a huge first week. She needs a single to resonate now.

Yes and LWis not moving very fast. I do t know what’s up with radio right now.

hopefully the AMAs will give her a bump.

This is beginning of the time of year where people open their pocketbooks. They need a single that will excite people to purchase the album and I also think not having that is slowing the momentum of sales for the album tremendously. Just my humble opinion.

I think not having a single out is definitely hurting sales. I know LW is the current single, but you would never know it. We need something to give this album a push or to propel momentum. I just feel like this era is going to die quickly unless something miraculous happens.

I cannot believe how well this is doing internationally - 50% of its consumption units are now from outside the United States of America. For a country artist!

Mediatraffic has reported another 30,000 units for Cry Pretty, leading to a total of 379,000 units.

The No 10 album sold 70,000 units. Other albums listed:
11. Post Malone - Beerbongs & Bentleys: 66,000 units
12. XXXTentacion - Question Mark: 59,000 units
13. Lord Ed Sheeran MBE - Divide: 57,000 units
14. Various Artists - The Greatest Showman (Soundtrack): 55,000 units
15. BTS - Love Yourself 轉 Answer: 47,000 units
16. Nicki Minaj - Queen: 47,000 units
17. Juice WRLD - Goodbye & Good Riddance: 44,000 units
18. Sir Paul McCartney CH MBE - Egypt Station: 41,000 units
19. Imagine Dragons - Evolve: 34,000 units
20. Various Artists - Mama Mia! Here We Go Again (Soundtrack): 34,000 units
21. Post Malone - Stoney: 31,000 units

So Carrie is at No 22 world-wide this week.

That’s great! Honestly this is the first era we are getting WW numbers so it’s fun and exciting. I wonder why we never got them before?

We have gotten world-wide numbers since Carnival Ride...They just were never that great, ie sales overwhleming coming from the US.

An international presence and push is great. And I think it needs to be tapped. But we really need to see some push to pop. That gains a lot more international attention than just country.

You may be correct, but considering how much Carrie has been through, I am surprised she is doing as well as she is.

I am wondering why there is no push to pop radios like Before He Cheats. That Song That We Used To Make Love To and Drinking Alone are AMAZING songs to MAINSTREAM music market - NO NEED TO REMIX. They just depend on live performances for mainstream music market. Thanksgiving Weekend Sales and Christmas Holiday Sales are fast approaching. Hurry up UMG!!!
