Sigh. 11 is such an annoying number. It would have been different if it was 15 or so, but to miss the streak by one spot. D:

After tonight’s EPIC performance of Southbound and how much everyone loves it (everyone is saying it’s their summer jam!) I’m so ready for it to be sent to radio!

Update on the ladies on the charts:

#10 Carrie Underwood - "Love Wins"
#11 Kelsea Ballerini - "Miss Me More"
#22 Maren Morris - "Girl"
#23 Runaway June - "Buy My Own Drinks"
#24 Lindsay Ell (featured on Brantley Gilbert's song) - "What Happens in a Small Town"
#29 Hilary Lindsey (featured on Randy Houser's song) - "What Whiskey Does"
#31 Carly Pearce - "Closer to You"
#34 Kacey Musgraves - "Rainbow"
#37 Tenille Townes - "Somebody's Daughter"
#41 Lauren Alaina - "Ladies in the 90's"
#49 Maddie & Tae - "Friends Don't" (unfortunately, the single didn't even make it to the top 30 - hopefully their next single will be successful)

I don't want to hope too much but this does give me hope.

This week's update (I'm taking this from the All Access website. Not sure how they tally their rankings. Full Mediabase updates in pdfs stop appearing on my Google search):

#10 Kelsea Ballerini - "Miss Me More"
#11 Carrie Underwood - "Love Wins"
#17 Maren Morris - "Girl"
#24 Runaway June - "Buy My Own Drinks"
#25 Lindsay Ell (featured on Brantley Gilbert's song) - "What Happens in a Small Town"
#28 Hilary Lindsey (featured on Randy Houser's song) - "What Whiskey Does"
#29 Carly Pearce - "Closer to You"
#36 Kacey Musgraves - "Rainbow" (the song went into negative but is gaining again)
#38 Tenille Townes - "Somebody's Daughter"
#42 Lauren Alaina - "Ladies in the 90's"
*NEW* #50 Ashley McBryde - "Girl Goin' Nowhere"

Yes since they didn't use the performance slot to debut the third single at the ACM's they should push for Love Wins.

If you are brave go look at the Pulse Love Wins thread. They expect LW wins to be pulled tonight and drop like a rock. Southbound should have an add out tonight.

They are saying Carrie needs to dump her producer and not even put out a single 4 if Southbound does not perform well.
And if that happens they say she needs to get writers on the road with her and start recording her next album for 2020.
Does anyone want to tell them that Carrie is going to tour with a 4 year old and a baby? I think circumstances around the album are out of our control. We may never fully understand the crazy LW chart run. I think Carrie being happy is what really matters and she looked happier than she has been in a long time last night.

Plus how much work goes into one of her shows. And don't even tell them that Mike is asking for baby number 3 so they might have a daughter...lol I don't think she is out to please everyone this era.

Why? Cry Pretty aside, she's put out her weakest singles on the album so far. Why would she dump the entire album?! It's freaking great.

^ they don't really like Carrie as much as they like her success. They can be mean for no reason. One of them said she should use Bright again. lol
As far as LW goes they're just speculating like the rest of us. Still seems like SB was just a one off.

Besides Miranda's albums sell less, do worse on radio and she gets like five singles. Nobody is telling her to drop her album. I don't really get what those people are thinking at all. You'd think her entire album flopped and she hasn't had two top 10 hits. May not be number ones like she's used to, but her best songs are still sitting on the album.

^ There are fans of all country artists in that site, they don't know Carrie very much, for example Carrie said a lot of times that she don't like to write while on tour.
