Carrie will undoubtedly be named the most-played female artist of the year as I posted last year, and her competition for the most-played artist overall will come from Luke, Jason & the Zac Brown Band.

Hunter Hayes is ridiculously hot right now, as evidenced by the fact that 'Somebody's Heartbreak' will replace 'One Of These Nights' as the most played single of 2013 sometime next week, and will remain there until 'Hard To Love' and/or 'I Can Take It From There' replaces him at the top, and keep your eyes on 'If I Didn't Have You' as well.

'Two Black Cadillacs' should pass 'Better Dig Two' on the year-to-date spins chart later this month, although when you include spins since the start of the 2013 chart year on Nov. 11th, 'TBC' still trails several tunes in addition to Tim, Little Big Town, & Hunter, and might not make the year-end top ten.

No---she was second to Lady Antebellum in 2010, and finished fourth in both 2007 & 2008. The last female act to finish tops in airplay were the Dixie Chicks in 1998.

I know how you feel.
I can manage to accidentally reference Carrie into just about any conversation. I don't even mean to. And after I say it, and I see the eyes rolling around me. I begin to realize that I may need help!

Yes, surely CC has passed 2 million by now. Noting the 12 day lag between certification date (3/27) and it being posted (4/8), RIAA may not post CC's cert for another two weeks.
